E-Mon Green Class Meter - Ideal for New or Retrofit Installations!

The Green Class meter provides a variety of features including scrolling display of:
  • Kilowatt hour (kWh) usage
  • kWh usage in dollars
  • Current load in kilowatts (kW)
  • Cost per hour based on current load
  • CO2 emissions in pounds
  • Hourly CO2 emissions
  • Optional Net Metering information including delivered, received and net usage

The meters are compatible with E-Mon Energy software and building automation systems to chart energy usage, evaluate the impact of load shedding and energy saving programs, identify energy savings opportunities and generate itemized bills for tenant allocation, departmental allocation and usage measurement & verification.

LEED Certification

E-Mon can assist with LEED certification points in several areas including measurement & verification, fundamental commissioning, optimize energy performance, green power and regional priority in addition to the specific point opportunities outlined below.

To Achieve LEED certification, facilities must achieve point levels as outlined below:
  • LEED Certified - 40-49 Points
  • LEED Silver - 50-59 Points
  • LEED Gold - 68-79 Points
  • LEED Platinum - 80 Points and Above
EPACT 2005/EISA 2007 Federal Compliance
  • EPACT 2005 & EISA 2007 contain several requirements that are supported by E-Mon's submetering products, including the Green Class meter:
  • Section 102 - Federal buildings must reduce energy use by 20% by 2015
  • Section 103 - All Federal buildings must be metered by 2012
  • Section 1251 - Net Metering
  • Section 1331 - Support for $1.80 Federal tax deduction
  • Title IV, Sec. 434 - Provide equivalent metering of gas & steam by 2016
